What subs do I have?

Hi,I am new to the site.I am in the uk and have just bought some Exile subs.They are 2x15s in a sealed box.I am after some help as to what power they can run and what ohms they run at.I have taken them out and can find no markings on them.
Any help appreciated,

There was also some older models which were 15s i believe. dual voice coils.

These are the subs I have.

thats the same one i have i believe. is a dual voice coil 15. i ran mine(before my wife totalled my car) with a 600.1 exile amp and it thumped. I cannot for the life of my remember what its specs were though. I want to say 1000watt, but thats at best a guess. Ill have to look around some more.

Also,the subs are wired in as shown below.Is this the best way to run these subs?
They came in a sealed box,is that ok or would a ported box be better?

yeah, you can run them that way to get a lower resistance depending on what amp you have. im still looking for my info though. did you try and call brian or morgan?


viewing my old post, i do have the dvc 15 and i ran it with the 600.1 with no problems. you could easily go higher and be fine.

That is how the subs were wired when I got them.I am new to car audio so dont understand to much.
I want to run them so I can get the best from the subs.

Not got an amp yet.
As I dont know what ohm they are,and working on that they are 4ohm dvc subs I will be wiring them in parellel to 1ohm.
